Victorious on Purpose was birth in 2012.  Originally entitled, “Victorious by Design”, its purpose was intended to give encouragement and motivation to my fellow sisters in Christ with scriptures, motivational quoted images, and videos on Facebook a page.  However, as times changed and so did my priorities, the Facebook page went stagnant.  I still encouraged my sisters but only in passing and on my own personal Facebook page or in a face to face conversation.  However, after I attended my first Women of Deliverance Spiritual Midwife Training class, during the worship experience God told me that my voice needed to be heard and that I have been too quiet for too long.  It was at that moment that I knew it was time to breathe life back into my love for encouraging others to be the best they can be through scriptures, song, and motivational quotes.  After much prayer, I knew I had to leave the dead buried.  In Deuteronomy 20:4 (NIV), it says, “For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”  Every day it is a constant battle in the world and we are constantly fighting, but by the grace of God, each day that we live in Him we have victory.  I also learned that everything that happens in our lives has a purpose, a God-intended purpose.  This is why I chose Victorious on Purpose.  Every trial and tribulation we face, we have to remember that we already have victory in Christ so we must face it with courage, faith, and believe that God has a purpose for it.  Therefore, we have victory on purpose and we are Victorious on Purpose!  It is my prayer that Victorious on Purpose will not be looked upon as just another devotional site but a place where you can find resources to become purposely victorious!  As the site grows, I hope you will grow with us.  God bless!
